دراسةٌ تَأْثِيليَّةٌ لأسماء العملات الرسميَّة في الدول العربية
Abstract
يقوم هذا البحث بإجراء دراسةٍ تأثِيليَّةٍ للكلمات الدّالَّة على أسماء العملات الرسميَّة المستعملة في وقتنا الحاضر في الدول العربية؛ وذلك لتحديد أصلها اللغوي ، وتتبُّع التغيُّرات الصوتية والدلالية التي قد تكون طرأت عليها استناداً إلى المعاجم الأجنبية والعربية.
ويُقسَمُ البحث إلى :
أولاً: أسماء العملات الرسمية في الدول العربية؛ وعددها ثماني كلمات: الأُوقيَّة - الجَنِيه - الدِّرْهَم - الدِّينار- الرِيال - الشِّلِن - الفِرَنك - اللِّيرَة.
وثانياً: أسماء الوحدات الجزئية التي تتألَّف منها هذه العملات؛ وعددها ست كلمات: البِيْسَة– السَّنْتِيم- الفَلْس– القِرش – المِلِّيم - الهَلَلَة.
ويخلص البحث إلى نتيجةٍ مفادها أن جميع الكلمات الدّالّة على أسماء العملات الرسمية في الدول العربية هي ذات أصول غير عربية ؛ ويعود معظمها إلى الأصل اللاتيني .
This research studies the names of the official currencies which are in use in the Arab countries nowadays, in order to specify their linguistic origins and to follow up the phonetic and semantic changes which have occurred, depending on the dictionaries.
This research is divided into:
- Firstly, Names of the official currencies in the Arab Countries. They are eight in number. Their names are: Ounce – Guinea – Dinar – Dirham – Riyal – Shilling - Franc and Lira.
- Secondly, Names of sub-units which are parts of these currencies. They are six in number. Their names are: Peso – Centim – Fils – Piaster - Millieme and Halala.
The research reaches the following conclusion: The Currencies in all Arab Countries have not come from Arab origins. Most of them have Latin origins.
