استخدام الديكساميتازون للوقاية من المضاعفات الناجمة من جراحة جوف الأذن الوسطى والخشاء
Abstract
يعتبر الدوار والغثيان وأحياناً الإقياء من أهم الأعراض السريرية الناجمة عن المداخلات الجراحية على جوف الأذن الوسطى.
تم إجراء البحث على /150/ مريضاً من المرضى المراجعين للشعبة الأذنية في مشفى المواساة بدمشق وقسم أمراض الأذن والأنف والحنجرة في مشفى الأسد الجامعي باللاذقية خلال الفترة 2000-2002.
تم حقن الديكساميتازون بجرعة 10 ملغ بالوريد أثناء العمل الجراحي، ومقارنته مع مجموعة من المرضى بدون حقن.
لوحظ أن حقن الديكساميتازون أثناء العمل الجراحي بالوريد بجرعة 10 ملغ يخفف من التأثيرات الرضحية للحفارة العظمية على الأذن الباطنة وبالتالي يجنب من حدوث الأعراض اللاحقة للعمل الجراحي على الأذن الوسطى ويخفف من حدوث الأعراض مثل الغثيان والإقياء التي تحصل في كثير من الأحيان نتيجة التخدير العام.
Nausea, vertigo, and sometimes vomiting, are considered the most important complications after tympanamastoid surgery.
The research was done on /150/ patients of Ear, Nose, and Throat Department of Al-Moussat Hospital in Damascus, and the Department of Ear, Nose, and Throat at Al-Assad University Hospital in Lattakia during 2000-2002.
Dexamethasone was injected; the dose was 10 mg intravenous during the surgery, and compared with other group of patients without injection.
We found that, the first group of patients who were injected with Dexamethasone (50 patients) didn't have after surgery complication while others (100 patients) who were not injected did have complication.
