Requirements for Applying Total Quality Management in the Syrian Arab Karate Federation A Field Study
Abstract
The aim of the research is to determine the requirements for applying total quality management in the Syrian Arab Karate Federation, which are: support for senior management, spreading the culture of quality, material resources, human resources, and information systems, from the viewpoint of the president and members of the federation and the main supreme committees.
The research relied on the analytical descriptive approach, and the research community consisted of the president and members of the Syrian Arab Karate Federation, and the main higher committees (coaches committees, competitions and championships committees, arbitration committees, expert committees, team committees) in the federation, which numbered (37) individuals, and due to the small size of the research community, a comprehensive enumeration method was adopted. for statistical analysis.
The results of the research showed that the application of total quality management in the Syrian Arab Karate Federation needs the support of senior management, the dissemination of a culture of quality, the provision of material and human resources, and the modernization of information systems.
