Abstract

نظرا للتطور الذي شهدته الصناعة السياحية، والمفاهيم الجديدة التي طُرحت في عالم منشآت المبيت على مختلف أنواعها، ومساهمة هذه الصناعة في رفع مستوى الدخل القومي في كثير من الدول.

فإن مكتبتنا المعمارية بل الأكاديمية على وجه الخصوص سواءً المحلية منها أم العالمية، اكتفت بعرض الكتب التي أظهرت هذه المنشآت كبنى مكتملة دون الرجوع إلى البحث النظري الذي كان لابد من وجوده لمعرفة الأسباب الجوهرية التي أدت إلى ظهور مثل هذه المنشأة، وهنا تكمن أهمية هذا البحث وهو تطور وسائل المبيت وتصنيفاتها من خلال:

  1. خصائص الحركة السياحية، ودور وسائل المبيت بوصفها إحدى المكونات الرئيسية للحركة السياحية.
  2. إلقاء الضوء على المهام، ووسائل المبيت، والاتجاهات الجديدة التي ظهرت لتلبية رغبات السائح، ومن ثم الانتقال إلى التوقعات الهامة حول نمو هذه النوعيات.

The Tourist Industry has witnessed an increasing development over a century. Residence structures have allowed new concepts to be discussed specially because of their value to the national income in many countries. Although, the library of architect in Syria and elsewhere is rich, I have noticed its poverty in explaining the basic reasons which led to such kinds of designs.

This research studies the development of tourist residence structures and their classifications as well as the reasons for their expansion. The study focuses on two points:

1. Characteristics of tourism and the role of residence structures.

2. Function of residence structures and ability to satisfy visitors' needs.

The research then deals with the prospects of further development of the tourist residence designs.
