The deviation in the message (The Miraculousness of the Quran) by Al-Khattabi
Keywords:
Deviation, the choice, the statement of the Qur'an's miraculousness, Al-Khattabi.Abstract
This research focuses on studying the deviation in the treatise (The Miracle of the Qur'an); trying to show its aesthetics and semantic potentials through what Al-Khattabi presented as an interpretive vision, by choosing one word over another or one style over another, so that the mechanism of choice works together with the mechanism of stylistic deviation through selection first, and then shift.
The importance of this study lies in understanding the secrets of the Qur'anic words and styles and revealing them as in the treatise (The Miracle of the Qur'an), and in reaching the results of this process.
It tries to show where deviation occurs in Al-Khattabi's message as an effective rhetorical mechanism that contributes to achieving his goals, such as persuasion and influence, by renewing linguistic meanings and linking abstract concepts with sensory images; this deepens the impact on the recipient.
This research highlights the precision and appropriateness of word choice in textual contexts, showing the Quran's miraculous aspects by shifting meaning from its literal intent to a new significance that serves the original meaning with the highest efficiency.
Deviation steps away from the usual language use—vocabulary, structures, and images—to achieve uniqueness and creativity, concentrating meanings that produce multiple layers of significance within a single linguistic framework very efficiently, and to emphasize the rhetorical miracle in the Quranic text, which makes it impossible to produce anything like it through breaking the rules.
