The Artistic Image In The Collection Of Abdul Karim Al-Qaisi Metaphor As A Model
Abstract
The metaphorical structure is a structural, semantic structure that poets carry in a special emotional way, especially in the context of expressing subjective experience. It is the context that calls for a special expressive language, and this expressive language reveals the level of aesthetic awareness that contains the poet’s emotional experiences, revealing the levels of feeling and subconsciousness inherent in The metaphorical pattern that constitutes an art of creativity; It is a tool for creative people to demonstrate their communicative abilities with others and sharpen their cognitive data. Many thinkers, writers, critics and rhetoricians have paid attention to it, as metaphor has accompanied rhetorical and literary achievements since ancient times.
Metaphor among poets, including Abd al-Karim al-Qaisi, is nothing but a tool of disclosure and values, and it was numerous for him, including the verbal metaphor in which he deleted the metaphor, And the explicitness in which the similes were deleted, and the representational ones in which the similarities were multiple, so his collection was full of carriers of metaphorical meaning, and the transparency of suggesting what he wanted to express in the language of eloquence and statement. Accordingly, the research progressed in its presentation of the scientific material, Based on the descriptive approach starting from the definition of metaphor, then studying the types of metaphor in Al-Qaisi’s poetry, and ending with a conclusion that included the most important results reached by the research, Among them: The diversity of similarities reflects the poet’s ability to deepen and consolidate the emotional level in the cognitive environment, and the representative metaphor was a purely argumentative aspect by mentioning two situations that compared them according to two carriers: the carrier of mention, and the carrier of deletion.
