Level of Nutritional awareness among caregivers of people with ADHD

Abstract

The current research sought to identify the level of nutritional awareness among caregivers of people with ADHD, and in order to achieve the research goal, the researcher used the scale for diagnosing cases of ADHD and impulsivity in children, written by Professor Dr.Jamal Al-Khatib (family version), with the aim of Identifying children who have hyperactivity and attention deficit, and then the nutritional awareness questionnaire (prepared by the researcher) was applied. First the ADHD and Impulsivity Diagnostic Scale by Professor Jamal Al-Khatib was applied to (20) caregivers who were randomly drawn, and after identifying children who had ADHD, Their number reached (13) boys and girls suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Then A nutritional awareness questionnaire (prepared by the researcher) was applied to their caregivers, in order to identify the nutritional awareness among caregivers of people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The results of the research showed that The sample of caregivers of people with ADHD have good nutritional awareness.
