Obstacles to Virtual Education from the Teacher's point of view (A field study on the Ajyal Smart and Roya Virtual Schools in the City of Hama)
Abstract
The current research aimed to identify the obstacles to virtual education facing teacher's in the Ajyal Smart and Roya virtual schools in the city of Hama, as well as to identify the differences in teacher's responses according to the following variables: (academic qualification, number of years of teaching experience).
The descriptive approach was used, and the sample included (73) male and female teachers, and to achieve the research goal a questionnaire was designed that consisted of (15) statements.
The results of the research showed that the obstacles to virtual education among teacher's of Ajyal Smart school and Roya virtual were moderate, the results also showed that there
were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members on the questionnaire of obstacles to virtual education according to the academic qualification variable, and it showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members according to the variable
The research presented many proposals the most important of which: is highlighting the importance of using the internet in education while strengthening the internet infrastructure and developing continuous training programs for teacher's on the use of technology, in addition to that, it is necessary to conduct a study to survey the opinions of faculty members at the virtual education and compare the results this study is combined with the results of the current research.
