The Role of Personal Charisma(Charismatic) of The Teacher in Teaching Performance (A Field study on a Sample of Students in the Educational Qualification Diploma at the Faculty of Education, University of Lattakia)
Abstract
The research aimed to identify the role of personal charisma (charismatic) in teaching performance among a sample of students in the Educational Qualification Diploma at the Faculty of Education, University of Lattakia. The research population Included all diploma student at the Faculty of Lattakia, totaling(350) students, of which(150) were male and (200) were female in the first semester of the academic year2024/2025.
The researcher used survey research, The research sample consisted of (99) students, selected randomly and distributed according to the variables (gender - university specialization). The researcher used a questionnaire consisting of two sections. The first section included (definition of the questionnaire), while the second section included the role of the teacher’s personal attractiveness in developing teaching performance, and consisted of (30) items.
The research results showed the following: The role of the teacher’s personal attractiveness in developing teaching performance from the point of view of the students of the Educational Qualification Diploma was average, with a percentage of (62.4%). The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the students of the Educational Qualification Diploma regarding the role of the teacher’s personal attractiveness in developing teaching performance according to the variable: (gender), while statistically significant differences were found according to the variable of university specialization (scientific- Theoretical) in favor of the Theoretical specializations.
