The Reality of private Kindergarten Teachers' Practice of Artistic Activities

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the reality of private kindergarten teacher's practice of artistic activities in the city of Lattakia from their point of view, and to reveal the differences in the reality of private  kindergarten teacher's practice of artistic activities according to the variables (academic qualification – number of years of experience). The researcher used a questionnaire consisting of (48) items distributed over four main  axes (drawing and coloring, music, handicrafts: cutting and pasting, and  formation). The research sample included (196) private kindergarten teachers in the city of Latakia. The survey method was used, and the research concluded with the following results;

*The reality of kindergarten teacher's practices of artistic activities in the city of Latakia, from their point of view, was moderate.

*There are statistically significant differences between the answers of the research sample members(kindergarten teachers) regarding the reality of practicing artistic activities according to the variable of academic qualification, in favor of those holding a university degree and a diploma in educational qualification. 

*There are no statistically significant differences between the answers of the research sample members(kindergarten teachers) regarding the reality of practicing artistic activities according to the variable of the number of years of experience.
