The Impact of a Training Program Based on The Application of V-Shaped Map According to Jigsaw Method of Cooperative Learning in the Performance of Prevocational Education Teachers
Abstract
The study aimed to build a training program based on the application of V-shaped map within Jigsaw method of cooperative learning on the performance of prevocational education teachers. The quasi- experimental approach was adopted. The study population target all the prevocational education teachers with total of (16) teachers were selected intentionally. To Achieve the study goal, the following measuring tools were built; training program, namely: observation card of prevocational education teachers performance. The validity and the reliability of all the study’s instruments have been checked and verified. For data analysis the researcher used the following Tests same like means, standard deviations, (Wilcoxon Test). The study results showed the effectiveness of the suggestion program. There are statistical significant differences between the mean score of prevocational education teachers in the experimental group that can be attributed to the variables of: teaching methodology. The study suggested the possibility of including the prevocational education teachers preparation programs before and during the service the training program because of its positive impact in improving their professional performance, and the need to continue the training of prevocational education teachers during service through training programs working to improve their professional performance.
