The degree of job commitment among kindergarten teachers from the perspective of principals "A field study in kindergartens in Latakia City"

The research aimed to identify the degree of job commitment among kindergarten teachers from the perspective of principals, and to discover whether there are differences in the degree of job Commitment among teachers from the perspective of principals depending on the variables (academic qualification and number of years of experience).To achieve these goals, the descriptive approach was relied upon. The research sample was (62) female principals, and a questionnaire was designed consisting of (15) items distributed over three areas (emotional commitment, normative (moral) commitment, and continuity commitment). The following results were reached:
- The degree of job commitment among kindergarten teachers from the perspective of principals in the city of Lattakia is high.
- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of principals’ answers to the questionnaire attributed to the variable (academic qualification) in favor of holding a diploma.
- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of principals’ responses to the job commitment questionnaire according to the variable of number of years of experience, in favor of principals with more than (5) years of experience.
