Publication fees

The publication fees for the journal were determined according to University Council Resolution No. 1382 dated February 3, 2026, as follows:

 1. Researchers affiliated with Latakia University are exempt from publication fees.

 2. Researchers affiliated with other public universities, higher institutes under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Syrian scientific research centers, or other ministries shall pay 500 new Syrian pounds. They shall pay 250 new Syrian pounds if collaborating with researchers from Latakia University.

 3. Syrian Arab researchers not affiliated with a public university, a higher institute under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, or a Syrian research center shall pay 750 new Syrian pounds. They shall pay 375 new Syrian pounds if collaborating with researchers from Latakia University.

 4. Researchers affiliated with a private university or the Syrian Virtual University shall pay 1000 Syrian pounds. They shall pay 500 new Syrian pounds if collaborating with researchers from Latakia University.

 5. Arab or foreign researchers pay a fee of US$50. However, they pay US$25 if they are participating with researchers from Latakia University or affiliated with a university or higher institute that has a scientific cooperation agreement with Latakia University.

 

Payment details for Latakia University Journal:

1- To pay from within the Syrian Arab Republic: Please transfer the amount to Latakia University account number: 0304-202799-001 at the Commercial Bank of Syria - Branch 4 - Latakia.

2- To pay from outside the Syrian Arab Republic: Please transfer the amount to Latakia University account number: 0304 -027985-005 at the Commercial Bank of Syria - Branch 4 - Latakia.
