From a technical perspective, patients encountered issues such as weak internet connectivity, the complexity of applications, incompatibility with smart devices, and concerns regarding potential technical failures. From a human perspective, challenges were predominantly related to limited digital literacy, language barriers, and a preference for face-to-face interaction (in-person consultations) with healthcare providers.
From an administrative and organizational standpoint, the primary obstacles included the absence of adequate guidance and support for utilizing digital tools, concerns about data privacy, and the perception that digital health practices may be more time-consuming compared to traditional methods. Furthermore, the current digital tools available do not sufficiently meet patients' needs. Regarding financial barriers, they encompassed the high cost of smart devices, subscription fees for some digital health services, and expenses associated with device maintenance.
