Approaches to the Theory of Sufi Taste In "Secrets of Rhetoric" and "Evidence of the Miracle" By Abdul Qahir al-Jurjani

Abstract

In the context of an Arab critical theory that emerged and developed from innate criticism to synthetic criticism, and crystallized during the first four Hijri centuries, Abd al-Qahir al-Jurjani’s critical theory came to light, It is an experimental compositional theory that has a scientific and cognitive character and includes a group of convergent approaches that are fused into a single crucible, the aim of which is to discover the artistic values of the mechanisms and stages of the formation of the literary text emotionally and sensorily and its impact on the recipient, These approaches are: the artistic and aesthetic approach, the approaches of psychological analysis and rhetoric, interpretation and exegesis, and the Sufi approach with its symbolic tendency, The research examined the manifestations of Sufi taste in these approaches, particularly in the main components of the poem, such as imagination, fantasy, and style, particularly the dialectic of opposites.
