Abstract

    The research aimed to reveal the role of school administration in achieving the dimensions of sustainable development from the point of teachers view in the first cycle of basic education in Tartous city, and was used descriptive approach, a questionnaire was designed consisting of (38) phrases applied to a sample of (202) teachers.

       The results showed that the role of school administration in achieving the dimensions of sustainable development from the point of teachers view in the first cycle of basic education came to an average degree, and it came high at the social dimension, and medium at the dimensions (economic, environmental, and technological), also the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the estimates of the members of the research sample about the degree of the role of school administration in achieving the dimensions of sustainable development according to Experience, and the presence of statistically significant differences in their estimates according to academic qualification, in favor of holders of university degree and diploma in educational qualification.
