Conflict resolution methods among a sample of married couples working at Lattakia University
Abstract
The current research aims to reveal conflict resolution methods and their prevalence rates among a sample of married Employees at Latakia University, and the impact of the two variables (gender, place of residence) on the methods used by them. Conflict Mode Instrumet (Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrumet), after it was translated into Arabic and codified on the Syrian environment by (Kasouha, 2019), the scale included methods (competition, avoidance, withdrawal, bargaining, cooperation). The research sample is avoidance, followed by withdrawal, then bargaining, and then cooperation, to finally come competition. There were no statistically significant differences with respect to the variables of sex and place of residence in the use of conflict resolution methods among the research sample.
