The Manifestations of the Sublime in the poetry of Nadim Muhammad

Abstract

In the poetry of Nadim Mohammad, the figure of the" glorious hero" arises from a pressing social need for revolutionary change, rejecting the ugliness conquest imposed on the social structure. This hero seeks to create a reality free from submission and alienation, harmonizing with the highest ideals rooted in freedom, social justice, and the pursuit of a beautiful life. Yet, this aspiration cannot be realized without the presence of a revolutionary hero, whose human mission and transcendent self strives to liberate reality from its ugliness. There is no doupt that this hero does not rise as an isolated individual, but rather as a model united with the collective masses aspiring for liberation. He represents a model of the highest human values integrally connected to the sociopolitical reality.

Thus we come to understand that the concept of "the glorious" in Nadim Mohammeds poetry is inseparable from the suffering of the complete human being, shaped by the conditions of social and political alienation.

The Study followed a textual analysis approach, benefiting from the procedures of aesthetic criticism in approaching the text to arrive at a comprehensive aesthetic vision in its cognitive revelations.  The research then examined the concept of the sublime addressing the notions of the marvelous, the lofty, and the heroic in the poetry of Nadim Muhammed.  It also explored the relationship between these values Among the key findings of the study is that revolution represents a social and aesthetic model that eliminates ugliness and generates beauty.  It is an act of social change and a defense of values stemming from an awareness of social need.
