The Reality of Teachers Possession of Classroom Management Skills (A field study in Primaru schools In Latakia)

The aim of the research was to determine the reality of primary school teachers possession of classroom management skills in primary schools in the city of Latakia.
To achieve the research objectives, a descriptive approach was used. A questionnaire consisting of (20) items was designed, distributed across two axes (motivation skills and classroom interaction management skills). The research sample included (110) male and female teachers for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The research concluded with the following key findings:
Primary school teachers' possession of classroom management skills ranged from low to medium, according to the opinions of the research sample. One of the most prominent proposed solutions is the need for teachers to conduct training courses to develop their classroom management skills in light of modern educational development, It also calls for strengthening educational supporting teachers in improving their classroom skills through classroom observation and constructive feedback, It also calls for the systematic and fair inclusion of classroom management skills assessment in teacher performance evaluations, linking it to professional development plans, and providing an appropriate classroom environment, in terms of the number of learners and administrative support, to enable teachers to apply classroom management skills efficiently.
