The degree to which physics teachers use educational methods and techniques in the basic education stage "A field study in public schools in the city of Latakia"
Abstract
The research aims to know the degree to which physics teachers use educational means and techniques in the basic education stage, and to know the difference between the averages of the sample members’ use of educational means and techniques in the basic education stage according to the variables (gender, academic qualification), and to know the differences between the averages of the sample members’ use of educational means and techniques in The basic education stage according to the variable (years of experience). In order to achieve the research objectives, the descriptive approach was used by designing a questionnaire consisting of (35) items, which was distributed to (33) male and female physics teachers in the basic education stage in the city of Latakia. The research reached the following results: The degree of physics teachers’ use of educational means and techniques in the basic education stage was moderate, and there was no difference according to the variable (Gender) at the level of the tool as a whole, and a difference was found according to the variable (academic qualification), while differences were found according to the variable (number of years of experience). The researcher suggested the necessity of using educational means and techniques in teaching physics and training teachers on them, providing educational means and techniques of all kinds in schools, giving teachers the opportunity to use them, and holding training courses for physics teachers on the use of educational means and techniques in teaching physics.
