The research aims to identify the availability of privatization requirements for basketball in the Syrian Arab Republic, to identify the effect of the variable of years of experience on the extent to which privatization requirements are implemented, and to develop a proposed mechanism for implementing the privatization process in basketball in the Syrian Arab Republic. The researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach, given its suitability for the nature of the study. A comprehensive survey method was used to select the sample, which consisted of (78) administrators from the Syrian Arab Basketball Federation, in addition to its affiliated committees, subcommittees, and basketball supervisors in clubs. A questionnaire was used as a research tool. The study's most prominent conclusions were that the implementation of privatization requirements for basketball in Syria is at an average level. There is also a need to develop all areas related to the requirements to accommodate the privatization process, most notably the administrative field. Furthermore, the administrative system and structure in place in Syrian basketball are characterized by weakness and inefficiency, and a lack of freedom to invest in sports venues and facilities for basketball.
