The extent to which the Xtra Go application embodies cloud computing characteristics (Content Analysis of the Official Website as a Case Study)

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which the Xtra Go application embodies cloud computing characteristics according to the NIST framework. To achieve this objective, a descriptive case study approach was adopted. An analysis card was developed based on the five essential characteristics of cloud computing and applied to the official website of the application as a reliable source of information. The indicators were classified using a three level scale that reflects full representation, partial representation, and absence, while descriptive statistics were employed to provide a quantitative picture of the extent to which each characteristic is embodied. The findings revealed that some characteristics were fully represented, others partially represented, while the measured service characteristic was absent, indicating variation in the level of adherence to cloud computing features. These results provide a preliminary foundation for evaluating cloud applications in the future, supporting the development of more accurate and comprehensive assessment tools. Hence, the importance of this study lies in presenting an applied approach based on content analysis instead of field data, contributing to bridging the knowledge gap between theory and practical application.
