Study of the quality of services provided at Latakia Hospital in Latakia (Field Study)

The objective of this research is to conduct an analytical study of the quality of healthcare services provided at Latakia Hospital, focusing on both the quality of services delivered by doctors and nurses, as well as the medical staff's ability to provide services related to privacy, comfort, cleanliness, and nutrition. Subsequently, the study aims to evaluate this quality and explore mechanisms for its improvement.
The researcher employed a descriptive analytical methodology to describe the study variables, with the research population consisting of all patients at Latakia University Hospital. A questionnaire was administered to 60 patients, with 40 responding, all of whom received treatment at this hospital. It is noteworthy that this sample was a simple random sample, selected randomly from the aforementioned population.
The research findings indicate a deficiency in the quality of healthcare services provided to patients at Latakia Hospital, as assessed through each dimension of service, namely tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, empathy, safety, and trust.
