The Impact of Talent Management Strategies on Employees’ Retention: A Field Study at DiGiShi Company
Abstract
This research aims to know the impact of talent management strategies on employees' retention in the e-commerce company in Syria, DiGiShi company. The researcher used the analytical descriptive methodology. The questionnaire was distributed to all employees in the company (130) employees, and (129) questionnaires were collected. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS program version (25).
The study resulted in the impact of talent management strategies (attraction, development, retention, and succession planning) in retaining the talented employees in the company. Also, succession planning strategy has higher response in comparison to the other talent management strategies. In addition to the effect of performance management on retaining the company’s talents.
The research recommended taking care of talents attracting factors including; motivating work environment, providing performance pay and training employment panels on how to select the talents in job interviews. Also recommended talents capacity building after recruiting them and continuously developing them, in addition to putting policies that enforce talents retention and making them feel work stability. Finaly, it recommended establishing special department to manage talents in the human resource management department in the company to take care of the talents and retain them.
