Abstract

This research aimed to Assess the implementation of applying risk management strategies in broiler farms In the Syrian Coastal Region, analyze these strategies, and measure their impact on production levels. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach, collecting primary data through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 324 broiler farmers. Data were analyzed using SPSS software, employing means, standard deviations, and a five-point Likert scale, in addition to one-way ANOVA to test the impact of risk management strategies on production. The results showed that the level of implementation of risk management strategies was moderate, with a mean of 2.90 and a relative importance of 58.06%. Some strategies, such as biosecurity and multiple marketing channels, were highly implemented, while training, insurance, and advance schowed low levels of implementation implemented. The results also indicated a statistically significant effect (p < 0.001) of implementing risk management strategies on production levels, Highleiting the need to strengthen these strategies the importance of developing these strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce losses in broiler farms on the Syrian coast.
