This research was conducted in Al-Jendeiriya village, Latakia Governorate, during the 2024 agricultural season to study the effect of plant density and nitrogen fertilization levels on the growth and yield of pepper plants (Capsicum annum L.), "Qorn Al-Ghazal" cultivar. A two-factor experiment was carried out using a randomized complete block design with a split-plot layout, as follows: planting densities (30×60, 40×60, 50×60 cm) and nitrogen fertilization levels (0, 30, 60, 90 g/m² of urea).
The results showed that the treatment (30×60 cm with 30 g/m² urea) recorded the highest plant height (104.13 cm), the largest leaf area (19520 cm²/plant), and the highest yield per unit area (7433 g/m²). The treatment (50×60 cm with 60 g/m² urea) produced the highest yield per plant (1702 g), while the treatment (50×60 cm with 30 g/m² urea) recorded the highest fruit weight (50.2 g).
